Poseidon’s Rocks

This point takes its name from the very high rocks that emerge from the sea and remind of Meteora.

It is a rocky reef with many holes and rich in underwater life.

The waters are crystal clear and we are sure to see sea urchins, yellow red and black sponges, posidonia and “sea lettuce”.Dusky groupers, sardines and brown meagres are some of the fish we will meet.

Around the reef we often observe flocks of saddled seabream and a little deeper the local hunter, the common dentex.

There is a large gorge at the beginning of the reef where many fish and octopus find shelter.

The minimum depth is 6m and reaches up to 40.
It is the ideal dive for beginners as well as advanced divers

Rocky Island

Diving by boat from Zarakes. The hallmark of the coastline is the purple seaweed and the rocky bottom with the many gorges.

The waters are crystal clear and we will see for sure sea urchins, yellow, red and black sponges, posidonia and “sea lettuce”.

It is very likely that we will meet perch, wrasses, rainbow wrasses, dusky groupers, golden groupers, white seabreams, saddled seabreams, Mediterranean morays, black and red damselfish.

The landscape looks like it's from another planet!

Limnionas Reef

Diving by boat in one of the best reefs in Evia.

It is located in the open sea, north of Limnionas beach in central Evia and has a minimum depth of 6 meters and a maximum depth of 150 meters.

We will see many small and large fish, nudibranchs and fireworms.Below 35 meters there is a forest of corals!

Strong currents at great depths make it an ideal destination for experienced divers.

Alonnisos

Double diving in one of the most beautiful parts of Greece, Alonissos!

At the point of the first dive, Fanari, which is located on the south side of the island, it is very likely to meet saddled seabreams, black seabreams, Parrotfish, european baracuda and very impressive red and yellow corals.

At the reef of Mikros Murtias, where the second dive will take place, we often meet dusky groupers and golden groupers. Very rich underwater life in flora and fauna, a magical experience for all divers!

After the end of the dive, we will tour the island for coffee, food and swimming on the beaches.

We will start by road from our diving center and reach Pili where we will launch our boat. We will travel to Alonissos with the dive center’s boat with a capacity of 18 divers.

Petali

A beach with crystal clear blue waters, ideal for diving of all levels!

We will meet yellow, red and black sponges, sea urchins, starfish, anemones, posidonia and sea grass and very likely to find octopuses, damselfish, sardines and saddled seabreams!

Englesonisi

Englesonisi is a large and uninhabited islet in the northern Euboean gulf.

It is an island full of trees and at the top of one of its two hills, there is the church of Agios Nikolaos. The island has three sandy beaches and is ideal for swimming and diving.

The bottom is rocky with levels and ends in sand at 25 meters.

Glaronisi

The rocky island of Glaronisi is located in the center of Scorponeria, in the northern Euboean gulf and takes its name from the large colony of seagulls that find shelter on the island.

During the dive, we can admire the rocky colorful seabed that hosts great underwater life, such as many small fish, octopuses and sea urchins.

The minimum depth is 2 meters and the maximum over 40 meters. It is ideal for night diving.

Kantili

Βρίσκεται στον βόρειο Ευβοϊκό κόλπο, από την πλευρά της Εύβοιας, λίγο πιο μακριά από την παραλία Δάφνη.

It is located in the northern Euboean gulf, on the Evia side, a little further from Dafni beach. It is a mountain range with vertical rocks where they end up in the sea.

Its location is known for its great depth - the maximum depth in the Euboean Gulf - 300 meters.

The dives we do in Kantili are suitable for all levels of divers.

Aspronisi

It is located in the complex of the three islets of Eretria.

An ideal place for beginner divers, but there is also a rocky step that starts at 20 meters and reaches 35 meters.

It is covered by the old nets that house many different fish.

Psaropouli

It is located in northern Evia, about 2 hours from Chalkida.

It is a Mediterranean reef that starts from 25 meters and reaches 50 meters.

We will encounter very rich underwater life such as dusky groupers, sardines, golden groupers, saddled seabreams, Mediterranean morays, seahorses and lobsters as well as corals, black, red and yellow sponges, sea urchins, starfish and posidonia.

Petrokaravo

The rocky island of Petrokaravo is located east of the village of Pili. Two rocks, 10 meters each, rise from the sea. To get to the bottom you have to go through 3 steps. The first is at 12 meters, the second at 18 meters and the third at 40 meters. We will see many small fish that find shelter there.

The first dive of the year for the Thalassa Diving Academy takes place in Petrokaravo, that comes with the cutting of the traditional New Year’s pie and usually takes place from January 1st to 5th.

Agia Eirini

It is located in central Evia on the Aegean side, just 1 hour from Chalkida.

In front of the beach of Agia Irini there are 3 islets, each with its own morphology. One of them has a vertical bottom, the other has huge rocks and holes that a diver can pass between, and the last one has a reef in the middle, where the shallowest point is 8 meters and ends at 40.

Aegean Reef

Diving in the crystal waters of the Aegean.

The Aegean reef is located north of the village of Mesochoria.

The minimum depth is 11 meters and reaches 60 meters vertically. Many species of fish find refuge in this reef.

The southern side of the reef has a maximum depth of 40 meters on a vertical rocky bottom, while on the northern side, the bottom is also rocky but there are steps to get to 60 meters.

The first step is at 15 meters, ideal for Open Water Divers.

Lithari

This spot is a rock in the middle of the sea located 5 nautical miles east of the port of Kimi.

It rises vertically through the sea and on its southern side there is a flat rocky bottom from 15 meters.

On its northern side, the bottom is like a vertical wall with stairs ending at 80 meters. The area is known for its underwater currents, which makes this spot ideal for technical diving.

There is rich underwater life filled with fish, lobsters and corals.

Prasouda

It is located 7 nautical miles north of Kimi village.

It is a small island with a lighthouse at the top and very rich underwater life, such as different species of fish, corals and lobsters.

We are very likely to see dolphins and seals.
